Pride Imaging was an idea that brewed for quite a while until finally in December of 2017, I acted on the ideas and made it into a thing of sorts.
It all starts with my absolute love of photography. The art has been at the centre of who I am for as long as I can remember.
I love photographing people, events, places, anything that tells a story or captures a moment worthy of reflection.
The word Pride has many interpretations, though one of its sole definitions is ‘to be especially proud of a quality’. I “Came out” (whatever that means) when I was 20 years old, and ever since then my life has made so much more sense and I feel so at peace to have found my community to which I belong. Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community is a major part of my identity and I could not be more proud of it.
With that being said, you may see now where I am heading with this whole ‘Pride Imaging’ idea. I am going to go further into detail of what exactly the idea is in another post, as I believe the explanation deserves it’s own space. Click here to read the post.
More about me, the creator. I’m Jenna, 25 years old and I live on the South East coast of Australia. After pursuing and dropping out of a bunch of different degrees and testing different career paths (you never know unless you try right?), I have finally found myself in my element- studying photography at University.
As I go through my degree, I am excited to see where my work and studies take me as I continue to work on this project.
